Description
Now Taurine is a conditionally essential amino acid; it is not used as a protein synthesis component, but can usually be found in several tissues, particularly in the nervous system.
Taurine supports the stabilization of cell membranes, helps potassium, sodium, calcium and magnesium pass into and out of cells, and contributes to the regulation of nerve impulses and fluid balance.
Additionally, it plays a role in visual pathways, as well as the brain and nervous system, working with glycine and GABA as a neurotransmitter.
